Classroom Driver Education
SHS offers 30 hours of classroom instruction four times a year. Fall (October/November), Winter (December/March), Spring (2 classes - one after school - one on Saturdays for spring sport participants), Summer (July/August).
Information on the Spring 2017 Driver Education Class has been emailed to all 2016-17 8th, 9th and 10th graders. If you do not receive an email please feel free to contact Mr. Glomski with any questions you may have. Information on how to contact me can be found on home page.
Dates for Upcoming Driver Education Classes
Prior to the start of each class (3-4 weeks before) the school will send out an informational email on dates, times and how to register your son/daughter.
WINTER 2017/2018 DRIVER EDUCATION CLASS
Number of Participants: Each class needs at least 15 students. Class size is limited to the first 25 students so if your son/daughter is interested in taking the fall class-please contact me at: Email: bill.glomski@ssdtigers.org or Text: 507-261-7329<tel:507-261-7329>
When sending in your request for class - please include your son/daughter’s birth date with your request. I will send a reply to your request.
On the first day of class a registration fee of $175.00 will be collected from your child. If you would like to set up a payment schedule contact Mr. Glomski prior to the start of class.
Class Dates: Saturday, December 2 8:00-11:00 a.m.; Saturday, December 9 8:00-11:00 a.m.; Wednesday, December 13 (Early Release) 1:00-4:00 p.m.; Saturday, December 16 8:00-11:00 a.m.; Saturday, January 6 8:00-11:00 a.m.; Saturday, January 13 8:00-11:00 a.m.; Monday, January 15 (Teacher Work Day) 8:00-11:00 a.m.; Saturday, January 20 8:00-11:00 a.m., Monday, January 22 (Teacher Inservice) 8:00-11:00 a.m.; Saturday, January 27 8:00-11:00 a.m.; Saturday, February 3 8:00-11:00 a.m.; Saturday, February 10 8:00-11:00 a.m, Wednesday, February 14 (Early Release) 1:00-4:00 p.m. If any cancellation of classes occur due to weather, etc., make up days will be remaining Saturdays in February.

Class times will for the most part be 3 hours in length. Class agenda will be handed out on the first day of class with each day’s assignments and length of each class.
